For this week's AED member spotlight we will be spotlighting member Sarina Karim! Please find a description of Sarina'a Northeastern path and some of his incredible accomplishments thus far below! Thank you Sarina!
Hello everyone! I am a 4th year majoring in Health Science and minoring in Spanish. I’m on the pre-PA track and I’m interested in specializing in dermatology. On campus I’m a Bouvé Ambassador and am part of the Pre-PA Society and the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. I did my first coop at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Urodynamics department where I was a clinical assistant, and right now I’m on coop at brigham and womens hospital where I’m a PCA in the orthopedic trauma unit. Some hobbies of mine are traveling, singing, exercising, and being outdoors. I decided to join AED to learn from students whose career goals and interests align with my own while also forming friendships with cool people!
Another reminder we will be having a CPR certification and recerification class at chapter on Thursday the 21st, keep you eyes peeled for the sign-up! This is a great way to get your certification that is required for most clinical co-ops! We will be having a meeting this Thursday, April 14th from 6-7 pm in Snell Engineering 108 for e-Board elections, see you all then!
